With the 2019-20 NBA season on pause amid the COVID-19 pandemic, plenty of eyes will focus on NBA legend Michael Jordan over the next month.

This Sunday, ESPN will air the first episode of "The Last Dance" documentary series that details the Chicago Bulls' 1997-98 season. The series will largely focus on the events and drama that led to the breakup of the historic dynasty.

Perhaps this upcoming media attention towards Jordan will help him finally sell a mansion that's been on the market for eight years (and counting).

Lindsey Adler of The Athletic noted that Jordan's Chicago mansion remains available. The nine-bedroom, 10-bathroom luxurious home is now available for a whopping $14.855 milion.

Per the listing on Zillow, Jordan's 56,000 square foot Highland Park home includes a tennis court, a basketball gym and a putting green. Built in 1995, the mansion has 14 parking spaces. The rental value is a cool $15,000 a month.

The initial asking price for the mansion was $29 million, but after finding no takers, Jordan reduced it to $21 million the following year. The price has gradually decreased over time, and yet, the GOAT of basketball continues to await a buyer.

Jordan obviously isn't in a rush to sell the place. The owner of the Charlotte Hornets is worth $2.1 billion, according to Forbes. The mansion can stay intact until somebody is willing to give Jordan a fair offer.

Forbes states that Jordan made $93 million in salary alone during his 15 NBA seasons. The six-time NBA Champion also earns over $100 million per year from Nike.

Jordan retired after the Bulls won their sixth championship in 1998 (their second three-peat of the decadE). Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen and head coach Phil Jackson (he had a falling out with general manager Jerry Krause) also departed. Jordan returned to the NBA four years later, playing the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons with the Washington Wizards before retiring for good.
