Lady Gaga will be the last performer to grace the famed stage of New York City’s Roseland Ballroom, commemorating the venue with a 7-show closeout. Her first show kicked off last night (Mar. 28) — which was also her 28th birthday — with a stripped down version of her anthem “Born This Way:”

Though the show did not feature the kind of vomit-inducing performance art she exhibited at this year’s SXSW, Gaga still donned out-of-the-box costumes as she paid homage to the historic Roseland with a rose-accented guitar for a performance of “Bad Romance:”

Gaga’s hour-long set included renditions from her four-album catalog, from her first single “Just Dance” to her most recent offering, “G.U.Y.,” which she performed live for the first time:

“This is so exciting! How completely epic for an amazing venue,” Gaga said of having the honor to close the Roseland Ballroom. “I mean, what a dream come true. Who has a 10-day funeral?”

Lady Gaga’s last Roseland performance will go down on April 7.
